Grandmas varutharacha chicken curry


Authentic, heirloom recipe of varutharacha chicken curry. Chicken cooked with spices and toasted coconut paste. A very aromatic rustic curry that goes well with rice and Indian bread.

Ingredients: Chicken, onion, tomato, grated coconut, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, green chilli, fennel seeds, pepper powder, coriander powder, garam masala, curry leaves, vegetable oil, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves

Heat level - Mild (if you prefer it to be spicy, add chopped green chillies of your choice and heat it)

Goes great with - Pulao rice, cumin rice, lemon rice or any Indian bread.
